Valvecraft was established in Durban in 1973, serving the needs of industry, government departments, municipalities, agriculture and maritime fleets in Natal. With the expansion of industry in the Richards Bay area, an opportunity opened up for another branch of the companies in the Baars Group.
Valvecraft (Richards Bay) began operation in November 2000. A year later it had already become a major supplier of valves to the heavy minerals, sugar and paper mill industries and
required larger premises. In November 2001 the company moved to 7 Platina Drive,
7D Chanos Park, Empangeni.
For all your valve and related equipment needs in the Richards Bay area, contact David Mörck, the Manager, who is ably supported by Sales Engineer Trevor Stofberg and office administration staff Charmaine De Lange and Charmaine Thompson. Cyril Mtetwa runs the Stores and reportedly makes the best coffee in Richards Bay.
