DISTRIBUTORS MEETING
A
meeting of Baars Group Distributors was held in April.Distributors from Baars’ nationwide network gathered at the
G.C. Baars premises in Germiston.
The
first item on the agenda was the Baars website and delegates were
shown how to navigate through all the pages available, particularly
the valve and actuator selectors.
Several
new products were discussed:
- 4th Generation AIR TORQUE
actuator
- SLIM lug type pinless butterfly valve
- ITAP couplings
- OSECO rupture disks.
Samples of these products were displayed and the Distributors were
given details of the features and benefits of each product.
Following
this the Distributors were taken on a tour of the G.C. Baars warehouse
and workshop. Here they
were shown Baars’ vast stocks of valves and related equipment.
Throughout
the day emphasis was placed on the concept of the “One-Stop Valve
Shop” which aims to meet all the requirements of the end-user
through a single supplier in major centres.
